As tradition dictates, also the ACEEPT Project Week 2022 will host a small but vibrant
international fair: all national teams are therefore requested to organize a stand representing
their own country of origin.
This fair (intended as a sort of tourism exhibition) will take place on Monday, November 21st, 2022
in the common spaces of the hostel where students are accomodated, i.e., the Sunflower Beach Backpacker Hostel & Bar (Via Siracusa, 25, Rimini). All teams will be given a table and some
other utilities to be used to present your country and/or region in terms of culture, tourist appeal
and gastronomy.
You are encouraged to use costumes, decorations, brochures, or any other material that might represent your country. The purpose of this event is to enhance the exchange of information and
ideas and create an environment for interaction among international students with so much joy.
For this reason, “intercultural activities” organized at your stand are very welcome! Make it sure
that everyone enjoys the best of your region and may have a... "taste" of it!
Goal:
We wish every participant may learn about and enjoy the best of each country/region represented
in the ACEEPT network. Encourage the visitors to talk, share and have fun together!
Format and timing:
The fair will take place in the evening, and will last approximately 1 hour and half.
National teams will have one hour before the start of the fair event, to set up their stand.
At the conclusion of the evening, they will be asked to clean and remove the stand.
Requested material:
The hostel is endowed with a fully-equipped kitchen of common use, that will remain available during the international fair event. A volunteer from the University of Bologna will also be
specifically assigned to each national team, to provide some assistance during the preparation
of the corresponding stand.
Having said, all specific items you would like to use during the fair (decoration material,
promotional items, giveaways, food, drinks, laptop and whatever you think will be of added
value) should be arranged/brought by you and your team members.
As a general recommendation, be creative! Bring whatever you consider an asset of your region
(e.g. local delicacies, brochures, decoration or any other items..). The point is showing to other participant the “uniqueness” of your home country, and turning the international fair into an
international party!
